We booked a two day Sapa tour to see the rice fields. As my wife is somewhat claustrophobic, we chose to do the trip by car. When we were in Hanoi, tour operator at our hotel insisting us buying train tickets from them. I refused and said we already had an agent arranged it for us. He tried to sell to us for $45/ticket (standard cabin on Livitrans) my goodness luckily we didn’t buy from them.
