We had a great holiday in Thailand with many great memories and experiences.
Our guide in Bangkok was wonderful. He had a lot of knowledge of the area and shared his knowledge with us. He could not have been more helpful to us. He helped us learn how to catch the train in Bangkok. I am sure that you have heard about the bus that we had in Bangkok that was not good. It was not such a good day with a broken down bus but we got through it and loved the motel at River Kwai.
We loved Chaing Mai. The motel was great and the town was wonderful. One of our favourite parts of the tour was the elephant ride and raft ride. Our guide also took us to see the long necked tribe even though it was not on our tour. Please include this for other Australian tourists we loved seeing the native tribe.
We then travelled to the island of Ko Sumi . We loved the hotel we stayed in.
The only thing we didn’t like was the motel that we stayed in at Bangkok, The Asia Hotel, the rooms we stayed in were smoking rooms they nearly made us sick as in Australia we do not smoke and we are not allowed to smoke in hotel rooms.
If you have people booking in this motel please book Australians in NON SMOKING rooms. We did not know this or we would have asked for NON Smoking Rooms.

We are already talking about our trip for next year. We think we would like to visit Cambodia, then Lao, then Chaing Rai and then finish at Phuket.
