It was lovely to meet you in Hanoi. We had a totally fantastic trip and are so pleased that we went with MinMax tours. All our guides were fantastic, extremely knowledgable and passionate about their country & area. They were also friendly, helpful & had great English and were prepared to make little changes to the itinerary when required. The consistent quality of the guides really made the trip for us and the high level of service was consistent from Hanoi through to Ho Chi Min. The four of us would highly recommend your company to anyone. We were so impressed that if you have a link you would like to send me I can post on facebook or any forum I would happily do so.
I think I mentioned to you that originally we were looking at another tour company for our trip but I wasn't happy with the pricing & they weren't as efficient at responding to my requests. Your pricing was very fair and you were always extremely efficient in responding to my requests or queries. Originally I found your company by googling a travel forum where another traveller had posted great comments about your company. They were absolutely right and I am so glad we went with your company.
Specifically, the hotels you chose were excellent and very clean. the Golden Lotus in Hanoi although small in size had excellent location and the staff very friendly. The Paloma Cruise at Halong was first class and very enjoyable. The weather was a bit foggy but we still had the best time. Again the staff were fantastic. The stand out of our trip was probably Hoi An and we all wished we had more time to spend in Hoi An and around Danang... Maybe the next trip! The Pacific Hoi An Hotel was the best of all the hotels for quality of staff, food, rooms and Spa Centre. I have already posted on Trip Advisor giving it the highest rating.
The Eden Hotel in Saigon was also good, although the rooms were small, a bit like the Golden Lotus, however we understand that this is due to land restrictions in the area. The foyer was beautiful as was the pool area.
The only hotel that we weren't really happy with turned out to be the hotel in Haiphong which was chosen by my brother for our family wedding and wasn't selected by you! However I would comment that all hotel beds were very hard for westerners. The Pacific had the softest beds and they weren't soft!
We were very happy and impressed with the range of activities provided.
You have a beautiful country and your guides showed it off for the best!
It may be some years before we are able to return to Vietnam but when we do we will definitely be travelling with you again.
