Four direct flights from the Russian Far East landed on March 2nd at Cam Ranh International Airport and brought nearly 790 visitors to Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa province and Phan Thiet city, Binh Thuan province.
Previously, Anh Duong Production - Trade – Service – Export Import Co., Ltd in Ho Chi Minh City signed a contract with the Russian branch of Pegas Turistik Company of Turkey, to organize and implement the winter holidays for visitors from nine Russian Far Eastern cities to Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa province and Phan Thiet city in Binh Thuan province.
This is considered a high point since this tour was organized in late October, 2011.
According to Ms Hoang Thi Phong Thu, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Anh Duong Production - Trade – Service – Export Import Co., Ltd, this tour will be organised for the long term.
Also according to Ms Thu, since the first flight in late October 2011, this tour has brought over 27,000 visitors to Vietnam through Cam Ranh Airport, mainly to Nha Trang and Phan Thiet. The number of visitors is much higher than the initial forecast of attracting around 20,000 visitors until April 30.
From the second half of February to now, each week has about 11-12 flights and each flight averages 180 visitors to Vietnam, according to the Vietnam travel company.
Through the survey, most visitors from the Russian Far East appreciate and feel satisfied with the quality of the tour as well as the price, service and serving attitude of the tour.
Therefore, the majority of the tourists stay in Vietnam for at least ten days.
Apart from Nha Trang and Phan Thiet, they also visit and take holidays in other destinations in Vietnam.
