Foreign tourists increasingly like Ha Long
The high-class Costa Classica cruise ship, bringing 2,500 tourists and crew mostly from China, docked at Ha Long Bay at 7am on February 1st.
After arriving in Ha Long, the tourists joined a tour to Long Tien and Yen Tu pagodas, Hon Gai market, enjoyed water puppetry and art performances and explored daily life of local residents, organised by the Saigontourist Travel Service Company.
Also in February, the Vietnam travel company plans to welcome more foreign tourists on the Costa Classica ship four more times.
In 2011, Saigontourist served more than 115,000 visitors mostly from the U.K, Germany, France, Italy, Japan, Australia and China on international higher cruise ships, including Costa Classica, Costa Romantica, SuperStar Virgo, SuperStar Aquarius and Princess Daphne.
