TransAsia Airways of Taiwan (China) on Nov. 10 launched its new Hanoi – Kaohsiung service, operating two flights per week with Airbus A320 aircraft.
The airline will conduct two its flights on Monday and Thursday, which depart Kaohsiung at 5.20pm and arrive in Hanoi at 7pm and depart Hanoi city at 8.20pm and arrive in Kaohsiung at 11.30pm.
The new direct route of TransAsia Airways is part of the airline’s plan to develop its network in the Asian market.
It also aims to meet increasing demand for commerce, investment, tourism and labour exchange from Kaohsiung, the second biggest city in Taiwan (China) after Taipei. The commercial centre of the south, with a population of 1.5 million, is one of the most attractive destinations in the island.

At the present, there are more than 30,000 Taiwanese living and working in Vietnam. The number of Vietnamese community living in Taiwan is more than 200,000 including a business community, students and a large number of workers and Vietnamese brides who have married Taiwanese men.
