Saigontourist, favorite brand in Vietnam
"Saigontourist" is one of the Vietnam travel agency and the Sai Gon Travel Service Company (Saigontourist), a subsidiary of Saigontourist Corporation, was named the favourite Vietnamese brand name in 2011 yesterday, making it one of the country’s twelve best tour operators for the sixth year in a row.
The rating was based on the results of voting by consumers and newspaper readers in Ho Chi Minh City.
The company was also voted as provinding the best quality service and the best online booking network, earning it a place in the list of the leading tourism companies in Vietnam according to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism.
Saigontourist is now launching a series of programmes to promote Vietnam tourism and tourism brand names in the international market.
The company gained revenue of more than VND 1 trillion in 2010 and served more than 320,000 domestic and foreign tourists.
