Press Meeting to announce 2013 Ha Long Carnival program
On April 9, in Ha Long city, a Press meeting was held to announce 2013 Ha Long Carnival program. It was attended by Mrs. Vu Thi Thu Thuy, Vice-Chairwoman of QNPPC and Head of the Carnival Organizing Board, and a large number of reporters from local and central press agencies.Speaking at the meeting, Vice-Chairwoman of QNPPC Vu Thi Thu Thuy has sincerely thanked media agencies for their collaboration with Quang Ninh province in propagating the Carnival,a wide range of tourism promotion activities, and other programs celebrating the 50th anniversary of Quang Ninh province. Thuy also informed at the meeting the distinctive features of this year Carnival. Accordingly, the Carnival will take place in April at a new location in order to extend Ha Long tourism space; the values of Quang Ninh’s ethnic groups will be promoted.According to Mr Ha Quang Long- Director of the Quang Ninh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, with the theme of “Quang Ninh’s Colors-combines the best” 2013 Ha Long Carnival will be officially opened at 8pm on April 27 on Hoang Quoc Viet street at Hung Thang Ward, Ha Long city. It will be broadcast live on VTV1, VTV4, QTV channels with 3 main contents including the opening ceremony, art performance and Carnival parade.
