Over 2.8 million tourist arrivals to Quang Ninh in the first quarter

According to the news released from Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in March, Quang Ninh has received 1 million tourist arrivals, of which 227,000 arrivals are international.Thus in the first 3 months of the year, the provincial tourism sector has received over 2.8 million arrivals, up 8% in comparison with the same period last year of which international tourist arrivals are 775,000, down 2% compared to the same period 2012; The total tourism revenue reaches VND 1.333 billion, seeing an increase of 14% in comparison with the same period last year.Currently, Quang Ninh tourism sector is actively enhancing the quality of tourism service, building and developing tourism products, especially 2013 Ha Long Carnival which will be held in the next month.
