Eighty works by 51 Republic of Korean painters are currently on display at a contemporary fine arts exhibition in Hanoi.
The paintings, which encompass a range of different traditions including Korean fine arts, Western fine arts, and folk art, are all centred around the Korean people and land. Visitors to the exhibition can deepen their understandings of Korean fine arts’ recent developments and trends.
International Fine Art Exchange Club Chairman and Collector Nguyen Manh Phuc, said the exhibition allows Korean painters to share their skills, experience, and artistic motivations with Vietnamese colleagues.
By celebrating the two countries’ cultures, the exhibition also contributes to reinforcing their ties of friendship.
The week-long event will run until July 18.
