A tourism product, “Dragon Tourism Route”, was just launched in Hanoi by The Union of Science for Sustainable Tourism Development (STDe) and the Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee.
Accordingly, visitors will travel through seven destinations, namely Tuan Chau Island, Dau Go Island, Bo Hon Island, Hang Trai Island, Dau Be Island, Hon Vong Vieng and Cong Do Island, to discover the scenery of Ha Long Bay.
According to Dr. Nguyen Thu Hanh, Chairwoman of STDe, the route will help visitors learn more about the cultural and historical values of Ha Long Bay as mentioned in legends about islands and fishing villages in the Bay.
Besides, visitors will have an opportunity to participate in games of Vietnam travel agency,special “Find the treasure of dragon”, to be held on Tuan Chau Island (so-called Ngoc Rong Island) and to discover the dragon maze with nine crossroads to nine dragon caves: water dragon, fire dragon, earth dragon, poetry dragon, music dragon, painting dragon, spirit dragon, peace dragon and so on. Visitors will also discover Ha Long Bay by ship and on dragon-shaped balloons or by diving.
According to Luu Nhan Vinh, the Director of Vietnam Tourism joint-stock company, “Dragon Tourism Route” is a feasible tourism product that is suitable for many types of tourists.
