Da Nang plans to expand its sea tourism space by opening seven model beaches in Lien Chieu and Thanh Khe Districts, at a total cost of VND 17 billion.
These seven-kilometer long beaches include Xuan Ha, Phu Loc, Ho Tung Mau, Tran Dinh Tri, Nguyen Chanh, Nam Xuan Thieu and Nam O. Various public services will be developed as well, including four sea sports zone, two fresh water areas in Thanh Khe and Lien Chieu Districts and a series of signs and instructions.
According to Vietnam travel agency, It is expected that the amount of tourists to Da Nang, especially to its beaches, will increase about 30 percent per year, on average, in coming years. At present, there will be a large number of tourists flocking to Da Nang from April to August, causing an overload in accommodation and services in current beaches. The expansion of sea tourism space will solve this issue as well as open new opportunities to attract more visitors to Da Nang city.
