Solutions to make Da Nang a city of ASEAN stature
A meeting to discuss the preparation for the 2nd seminar themed “Contributing Ideas and Solutions to Make Da Nang a city of ASEAN and ASIAN Stature” took place in Da Nang on Thursday.
Co-chaired by the municipal People’s Committee (PC) Vice Chairman, Mr Phung Tan Viet, and the PC Vice Chairman, Mr Nguyen Ngoc Tuan, the event was attended by representatives from local relevant departments and agencies.
At the event, 10 speeches relating to Services and Urban topics were given by representatives from domestic and foreign businesses. The topics included finding new solutions for green urban spaces; making Da Nang a city of light; enhancing the aesthetics and economic efficiency for 3 local bridges over the Han River; applying IT in the city's urban infrastructure development to make Da Nang a tourism service-oriented city; improving the quality of human resources for local tourism; building a local coffee museum; and preserving the cultural and economic values of the Da Nang Museum of Cham Sculpture.
The seminar is officially being held today, 12 July, and a number of domestic and foreign experts will participate.
