Nhi Quy longan is planted in such areas as Quy Thanh, Qui Chanh and Qui Loi. Longan here has many varieties which are classified into 4 ones: cow-skin longan, tieu longan (longan with small size and seed), longan with yellow pulp, long nhan (dragon-eyes longan). Each kind has its own flavour to serve everyone. The longans here are big in size with small seed, thick pulp and thin skin. This may be the reason why Nhi Qui longans become famous. When longans turns ripe, they have fress yellow chromeh color (but dragon-eyes longans have light yellow) with scent pervasion. Peeling one longan skin, you will see its pulp is opalescent. Put it into your mouth, it tastes sweet. Longan seed has deep brown color. But tieu longan has such a very small seed as a chopstick end.
