Quan Am (Avalokitesvara) Festival on Ngu Hanh Son in 2013 (Da Nang) will be held from March 3rd to March 30th (from February 17 to February 19 on lunar calendar).

A new thing in the festival this year is that the statue of Tran Nhan Tong will be opened in the official ceremony. Beside Buddhism rituals is held officially on February 19 on lunar calendar, the festival will kick off in the evening on February 17 on lunar calendar with many various activities such as: travelling photos and paintings as well as beautiful spot Ngu Hanh Son exhibition, Bai Choi singing, calligraphy exhibition, a night festival with flower garlands and coloured lanterns, human chess competition, music and poem exchange, traditional boat race…

This is the religious festival held annually. It brings spiritual culture and community culture, contributing to preserve and promote the character of national culture.
