Refund VAT for forein tourists to Vietnam
The Vietnamese Government has agreed on VAT refund for foreign tourists.
Foreign tourists to Vietnam who depart via Noi Bai and Tan Son Nhat international airports in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City will get a VAT refund on the goods purchased in Vietnam.
All receipts worth at least VND2 million or more in total, if they receive from the same shop on the same day, will be refunded.
The pilot scheme will run from July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2014.This is really a good news for Vietnam travel agencies and forein tourists.
