Mong Cai city holds training course on building capacity of tourism management
A training course was jointly held by the Quang Ninh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Quang Ninh Tourism Association and EU project to improve tourism management capacity for 30 officials who are working in travel and service agencies in Mong Cai city.
During the 6 day training-course, learners had a chance to study a number of basic subjects, namely: supervision skills, dealing with various situations; reception management, retrainning and providing management skills for staff members of the small hotels. Especially, through the training course, participants were able to clearly understand the importance of the Vietnam Tourism Occupational Skills Standards (VTOS).
In addition, learners also exchanged and shared with each other experiences in professional skills to offer the customers with the best services.
After the course, on June 20th, 30 learners were granted with certificates by leaders of Quang Ninh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and EU project.
