Non Nuoc Stone Carving Village

Non nuoc village belongs to Hoa Hai ward, Ngu Hanh Son, Da Nang city. The Non Nuoc stone has been used since the middle of the 17th century. Stone can be found anywhere in cave of Marble Mountain, this village is located at the foot of Marble Mountains. The products of village help beautify the Marble Mountains landscape.

According to craftsmen of Non Nuoc village, the profession appeared nearly 200 years. This village formed in the end of the 18th century. The 19th century, this profession kept their alive. Today, Non Nuoc village located on the foot of Ngu Hanh Son, belonging to Hoa Hai, Ngu Hanh Son. This place worshiped “Thach Nghe” and on January 6th lunar annual year, Non Nuoc village often holds ceremony. It is said that Non Nuoc village formed and established due to using and combining with material, capital and market to create the current famous trade-make.
