Day 1 Vientiane Arrival

Day 2 Vientiane City Tour (B,L)
Our full day sightseeing tour of Vientiane commences with a visit to Wat Sisaket, the oldest temple standing in Vientiane. This amazing structure features remarkable frescoes and Buddha statues. The following sight is the former royal temple of Haw Pha Kaew, which previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image. You also visit the imposing Patouxai Monument well known as Vientiane's own Arc de Triomphe before continuing to the great sacred structure and symbol of Laos, That Luang Stupa. Then, visit Anouvong Park along Mekong River bank in town, where you can take nice photo, or relax near by. Overnight in Vientiane.

Day 3 Vientiane - Vang Vieng (B,L)
After breakfast, drive to Vang Vieng about nearly 3 hours, which was devastated by American bombing between 1964 and 1973. On the way you cross the Nam Song River to Tham Jang caves and will embark on a boat for a well-paced trip along the Nam Song River, exploring the breathtaking mountain landscape. Arrival Vang Vieng, check in hotel and relax. Overnight in Vang Vieng.

Day 4 Vang Vieng – Xieng Khuang (B,L)
After breakfast, drive about 6 hours to Xieng Khuang. On the way you will visit the Plain of Jars, an impressive archaeological site where hundreds of large stone jars are littered all over the plateau. This morning seeing the old capital of Muang Khoun Province and the nearby villages, home to the Hmong hill tribe and Tai Dam people. They have an interesting local culture and a colorful history. Check in hotel and relax. Overnight in Xieng Khuang.

Day 5 Xieng Khuang – Luang Prabang (B,L)
Today you will drive about 7 hours to Luang Prabang. Upon on arrival in the afternoon, check in hotel and the rest of day is at leisure. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 6 Luang Prabang City Tour (B,L)
After breakfast, you will visit the Royal Palace Museum, visit the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Mai, visit Wat Xieng Thong. Continue taking a short drive to Ban Phanom, a village famous for its hand weaving. We then climb up to the top of Phousi Mount for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as a beautiful sunset view of the city and the Mekong River. From there, we explore Street Night Market, where you can find the lovely collection and handmade textile by local and hill tribe people surrounding Luang Prabang. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 7 Pak Ou Cave – Kuang Si Waterfall (B,L)
After breakfast, you embark on a cruise upstream on the Mekong River River to visit the famous caves of Pak Ou housing thousands of statues representing Lord Buddha. Along the way, you stop at the village of Ban Xang Hai, where they make the local rice wine. Afternoon, drive out of town 30 km to the beautiful Kuang Si Waterfall, where you can swim, relax, soft trek to the top of the fall. On return short stop at Black Hmong Village, where hill tribe hand-made handicraft as souvenirs for visitors pass by. Then return to Luang Prabang. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 8 Elephant Camp - Living Land Project (B,L)
After breakfast, you drive ahead to Ban Ann Pier and take a boat trip upstream along Kharn river to Jewelland Elephant camp. Upon arrival, your guide brief about those elephants come from. Take elephant trek about 50minutes through a jungle before enjoy elephant bathing at Kharn river about 30 minutes. After elephant bathing, transfer you back to the Living Land Project at Pungvan village, known as an Organic Farm. Today spend a half day attending how to learn the rice is grown on our farm, experience the life of a farmer and try your hand at some of the activities. Or just view it all from the comfort of our traditional Lao rice house balcony, which is surrounded by rice terraces and our organic vegetable farm. Transfer back to hotel. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 9 Luang Prabang – Pakse – Wat Phu – 4000 Islands (B,L)
You will be transferred to the airport this morning for your flight to Pakse. On arrival in Pakse, you drive south to Champassak and to visit the fascinating pre-Angkorian ruins of Wat Phu, one of Southeast Asia's most dramatically situated temples. You have time to explore these intriguing Khmer ruins, which are perched at the base of Mount Phu Kao. Following lunch, you continue our journey by land and take a ferry boat cross Khong river to Si Phan Done where you have the rest of the day to relax or to explore the island. Overnight in Si Phan Done area.

Day 10 4000 Islands and Surrounding (B,L)
After an early morning breakfast, you head south by road and boat to Done Khone. Here you begin by re-tracing the French colonial-past at Ban Khone, where some old colonial houses still stand and glimpse the first Lao railway with its own locomotive. You continue your exploration of the area of the 4000 islands by boat and visit the beautiful Liphi waterfall, also known as the Samphamith, which forms a natural border between Lao and Cambodia. You return to Ban Nakasang and drive to the famous waterfall of Khone Phapeng - the largest waterfall in South East Asia, also known as the 'Niagara of the east'. Overnight in Si Phan Done area.
