Day 1 Luang Prabang Arrival

Day 2 Luang Prabang City Tour (B,L)
After breakfast, you will visit the Royal Palace Museum, visit the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Mai, visit Wat Xieng Thong. Continue taking a short drive to Ban Phanom, a village famous for its hand weaving. You then climb up to the top of Phousi Mount for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as a beautiful sunset view of the city and the Mekong River. From there, you explore Street Night Market, where you can find the lovely collection and handmade textile by local and hill tribe people surrounding Luang Prabang. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 3 Pak Ou Cave - Ban Xang Hai Village (B,L)
To day, you embark on a boat for a leisurely trip on the Mekong River, stopping en route at Ban Xang Hai village to see the production of and to sample the local rice wine. Upon leaving this village we pass through stunning mountain landscape to the mysterious Pak Ou Cave. These two linked caves are crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes, all brought there by devout villagers. After the river trip you drive towards Ban Phanom, a small village known for its hand weaving. Then transfer back to hotel. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 4 Luang Prabang - Living Land Project (B,L)
After breakfast, you drive a bit out of town to the Living Land Project at Pungvan village, known as an Organic Farm. Today spend a half day attending how to learn the rice is grown on our farm, experience the life of a farmer and try your hand at some of the activities. Or just view it all from the comfort of our traditional Lao ricehouse balcony, which is surrounded by rice terraces and our organic vegetable farm. All the family can join in and there are great photo opportunities. Afternoon, return to town and visit Traditional Arts and Ethnology Centre. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 5 Kuang Si Watefall – Black Hmong Village (B,L)
After breakfast, drive out of town 30 km to the beautiful Kuang Si Waterfall, where you can swim, relax, soft trek to the top of the fall. On return short stop at Black Hmong Village, where hill tribe hand-made handicraft as souvenirs for visitors pass by. You then return to Luang Prabang. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 6 Luang Prabang – Xieng Khuang (B,L)
Today, you drive about 7 hours to Xieng Khuang. Upon on arrival in the afternoon, check in hotel and the rest of day is at leisure. Overnight in Xieng Khuang.

Day 7 Xieng Khuang – Vang Vieng (B,L)
After breakfast, you drive out to visit the Plain of Jars, an impressive archaeological site where hundreds of large stone jars are littered all over the plateau. This morning seeing the old capital of Muang Khoun Province and the nearby villages, home to the Hmong hill tribe and Tai Dam people. They have an interesting local culture and a colorful history. Then, you drive about 5 hours to Vang Vieng, which was devastated by American bombing between 1964 and 1973. Check in hotel and relax. Overnight in Vang Vieng.

Day 8 Vang Vieng - Kayaking - Ban Pako Lodge (B,L)
After breakfast, enjoy soft kayaking along Song river to see the stunning view of the town about 3 - 4 hours through local caves. In the afternoon, you continue to Ban Pako Lodge about 3 hours and half drive. Arrive in Ban Pako, check in at your bungalow. Overnight at Ban Pako Lodge.

Day 9 Ban Pako - Soft Trekking - Vientiane (B,L)
After breakfast, enjoy soft trekking about 2 or 3 hours to local villages through jungle to see daily live so local in remote area. Mostly, those local are farmers and fishermen. Trap fish at Ngum river for their main dishes and for sales. In the afternoon,continue to Vientiane about nearly 3 hours drive. Arrive in Vientiane, transfer to your hotel for check in and relax. Overnight in Vientiane.

Day 10 Vientiane City Tour (B,L)
Our full day sightseeing tour of Vientiane commences with a visit to Wat Sisaket, the oldest temple standing in Vientiane. This amazing structure features remarkable frescoes and Buddha statues. The following sight is the former royal temple of Haw Pha Kaew, which previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image. You also visit the imposing Patouxai Monument well known as Vientiane's own Arc de Triomphe before continuing to the great sacred structure and symbol of Laos, That Luang Stupa. Then, visit Anouvong Park along Mekong River bank in town, where you can take nice photo, or relax near by. Overnight in Vientiane.

Day 11 Vientiane - Thakhek - Ban Na Hin (B,L)
You depart early for our drive towards Khammouane province. Along the way you can make several stops to stretch your legs and take some wonderful pictures of the breathtaking scenery of Laos countryside. Depending on road and traffic conditions, you will arrive at Ban Na Hin, the gateway to Khong Lor Cave by mid or late afternoon. On arrival you enjoy a short walk around this charming village, enabling us to understand a little more about their culture and lifestyle. Overnight in Ban Na Hin.

Day 12 Ban Na Hin - Khong Lor - Ban Na Hin (B,L)
Today, you take the short drive to the amazing cave of Khong Lor is 7.5km long and was formed by the Hinboun River, which flows though the cave all year round. The cave boasts many impressive stalactite formations. You also stop en route for a walk to That Mouang and That Namsanam Waterfalls. Overnight in Ban Na Hin.

Day 13 Ban Na Hin - Savanakhet – Pakse (B,L)
You leave Ban Na Hin and continue venturing in southern Laos, towards Pakse, the capital city of the south. Along the way you make stop at Sananakhet. This fast growing town has become an important trade center between Vietnam and Laos. There is not much to see in this town but it is a necessary stop for lunch. You arrive in Pakse Town by mid afternoon and have time to stroll around and catch our first glimpse of the town. Overnight in Pakse.

Day 14 Pakse – Tadlo (B,L)
Today, continue to Tadlo, past many charming villages and rolling hills. The deep contrast of lush vegetation and red surface of basaltic soil is incredible all along the way. You make stopover at the scenic Phasoume waterfall and a nearby Katu village. You arrive at Tadlo by mid or late afternoon and spend time to relax at Tadlo waterfalls or simply stroll around a nearby charming village. Overnight in Tadlo.

Day 15 Tadlo – Boloven Plateau – Done Khong – Khong Island (B,L)
The views of stumbling water and lush vegetation around the waterfall is nothing short of spectacular. You depart Tadlo village and travel overland across the Boloven Plateau toward Khong Island. This back road gives a chance to discover the real southern Laos as you drive past many lush plantations, rolling hills and peaceful villages. You make stop en route to observe the traditional making of coffee and possibly get a taste. On arrival in Khong Island you embark a boat venturing into the widest reach of the Mekong River from where thousands of islets hut out in dry season, giving this area a lovely name “Si Phan Done”. The long tail boat passes Done Ket and Done Som before it races across the water towards the peaceful island of Done Khone. You stroll through Ban Khone village to explore different local lifestyle close up and some relics of the French colonial period. Upon leaving this area you cruise upstream and admire the impressive sunset over the mighty Mekong River. Overnight in Khong Island.

Day 16 Khong Island – Khone Phapheng – Watphou – Pakse (B,L)
Upon leaving Khong Island you make your way south to visit Khone Phapheng waterfall which boasts the largest one in Southeast Asia. The scenic drive delivers to the former royal capital of Champasak, a gateway to the pre-angkorian temple of Wat Phu. This hillside edifice was once an important sanctuary of the Khmer Empire. The temple structure was partly destroyed in turbulent history however it is still fascinating to walk among the ruins. You follow the walkway from the lore to the upper section, which features various forms including Vishnu, Shiva and Kala. The temple upper ground also affords a spectacular view from the surrounding valley to the mighty Mekong River. You visit Wat Phou Museum and Oum Moung temple before travelling by roads to Pakse, past scenic countryside. Overnight in Pakse.

Day 17 Pakse – Flight back to Vientiane - Buddha Park (B)
After breakfast, free at leisure until you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back to Vientiane. Upon on arrival, meet your guide and you start to visit the major sight out of town about 30 km, visit Buddha Park, a blend of Buddhist and Hindu sculptures created by mystical monk on parkland located by the Mekong River and the impressive Lao- Thai Friendship Bridge. En route stop at Lao/Thai Bridge, taking photos before continue to the park. Late afternoon return to the town and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Vientiane.

Day 18 Vientiane Depature (B)
After breakfast, you are free time till the driver transfer you to airport for your departure. End of trip.
