Day 1 Chiangrai (Thailand) - HoueiSay - Pakbeng (L)

Transfer from the Chiang Rai airport to Chiang Khong. After passing through immigration, you cross the Mekong River to Houei Say in Laos (by your own) where your Lao guide will be waiting for you at the immigration point. After completing border formalities, you board a ready traditional boat for the trip down the Mekong River. As you cruise down the river, you will stop at some tribal minority villages such as the Hmong, Yao and Khmu. Upon arrival in Pakbeng, we visit local market; experience daily lifestyle of colorful hill tribe traders exchanges their goods. Overnight in Pakbeng.
Day 2 Pakbeng - Pak Ou Cave - Luang Prabang (B,L)

Breakfast as you sail down river as a second leg, you will pass areas of un-spoilt forest with little villages along the riverbanks and perhaps the odd elephant or two with his mahout. You visit a fishing village and a rice wine making village and perhaps even taste some of the infamous beverage known as Lao Rice wine. You also visit the Pak-Ou caves, where thousands of Buddha statues are stored. You arrive in Luang Prabang around sunset and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 3 Luang Prabang City Tour (B,L)

After breakfast, you will visit the Royal Palace Museum, visit the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Mai, visit Wat Xieng Thong. Continue taking a short drive to Ban Phanom, a village famous for its hand weaving. You then climb up to the top of Phousi Mount for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as a beautiful sunset view of the city and the Mekong River. From there, you explore Street Night Market, where you can find the lovely collection and handmade textile by local and hill tribe people surrounding Luang Prabang. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 4 Kuang Si Waterfall - Departure (B,L)

After breakfast, drive out of town 30 km to the beautiful Kuang Si Waterfall, where you can swim, relax, soft trek to the top of the fall. On return short stop at Black Hmong Village, where hill tribe hand-made handicraft as souvenirs for visitors pass by. Then return to Luang Prabang and take a departure flight. Tour ends.
