As anywhere else in the world, petty crime does exist, so when you’re traveling or visiting big cities, keep your belongings close, don’t carry valuables and be mindful of hanging bags, swinging cameras and purses.

For those traveling without smart phones, laptops, iPads, etc., there are many Internet cafés found throughout the country where visitors can use the Internet for very small fees.
TopMost hotels, mid to high-end restaurants and large shopping centers accept major credit cards. However, many local shops, markets and small eateries may not, so it’s always encouraged to carry Vietnam Dong with you as well. If you’re not sure whether a place accepts credit cards….ask beforehand!
